CHOOSING THIS RANGE

Questions about this design.

Which bowl size should I choose for breakfast, desserts or side dishes?

Choose 240, 370 or 475 ml for the serving size you need. All have a 125 mm top diameter, with heights of 47, 60 and 75 mm. The smaller bowl suits a small dessert or side, while deeper options give fruit and yogurt, congee or deli portions more room. Check the full portion and toppings with the lid fitted before choosing your size mix.

What is the thickened rim and body for?

The thickened rim and bowl body give a more substantial feel during filling and holding. This is useful when staff portion congee or prepared sides and when customers hold the bowl to eat. The bowl and matching lid are made from food-grade PP. Compare samples with your usual portion to assess the handling in your own service.

What is the small vent in the lid for?

The small lid opening gives steam a path to escape from the covered bowl. Keep the food below the lid so the opening stays clear, and carry liquid dishes upright. The vent is an opening in the cover, so it should not be treated as an airtight closure or a reason to transport a filled bowl on its side.

How do customers open the lid?

A projecting tab on the lid edge provides a place to grip and start lifting the cover. Hold the bowl steady and lift from that point before removing the rest of the lid. This gives customers an identifiable opening point when serving a dessert, breakfast portion or side dish.
